Poetry Project, v 2.0, Day 19

so, another day down, another day to think about poetry and the arts. Yep, just in case you didn;t know, it's also national Jazz Appreciation month, national Library month, and I think there's a national book thing going somewhere, too...it's pretty much National Awesome Month. So let's be awesome, shall we?


Waiting.
In line here, in the office there.
A stamp, an appointment,
something that resembles food.
I wait, wait for it all.
I waited for Love, once.
It came and played with me for a while,
then went about its way.
And still I wait.
Wating for what?
I don't know -

But I know it will be worth the waiting.
